The resort has a peaceful setting that is quite close to the beach, making it a decent budget-friendly option. While the rooms are basic and could use some updates, the friendly staff and quick laundry service were definite highlights. The mattress was unfortunately hard and worn out, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. Still, the tranquility in the evenings made for a nice stay overall.
I spent a night at this resort while looking for a budget-friendly stay near the beach. The setting was quiet and peaceful, with gardens that add a nice touch, even if they were a bit overgrown. The beach is a short 3-5 minute walk away, which is convenient. While the rooms were basic and a bit worn, they were decent for the price. However, the mattress was extremely firm, which made it tough for a good night's sleep. Overall, if you're on a tight budget, this place might work for you, especially if you appreciate the tranquility.
The hotel is a decent choice for a budget stay close to the beach. While the rooms are small and not cleaned daily, the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The staff takes care to set up mosquito repellant at night, which helps a lot. However, be prepared for some discomfort with sand in the bed and a lack of towel changes during your stay.
My experience at The Lost Resort was far from ideal. The location turned out to be quite noisy despite claims of quietness, and the room itself felt very run down. While I appreciated the attempt at being away from the busy beach, the reality was a shabby room that needed serious upgrades. The breakfast offered was quite basic, and I won't be returning next time I visit Koh Samet.
I had a pleasant stay at this resort, which offers a clean and basic room for a budget-friendly price. While it's not exactly luxury, the nice staff and peaceful environment made my experience enjoyable. The location is a bit of a walk to the beach, but it's still close to some nice beach spots. Unfortunately, there are no dining options on-site, which was a drawback, but overall it was good value for money.
